We feel that by knowing the story of the poem, the reason why it was originally written, and the circumstances behind the actual writing, is another way to encourage and comfort you. Christian poetry that springs from the deepest hurt and loss, to the greatest joy. Classic writing, touching the deepest emotion of the human soul and spirit; poems that were hastily written on a napkin in the wrong restaurant, or on a bank deposit envelope on the hood of a car, under a tree in an old cemetery, the emotion, heart, and power of the anointed words from our favorite Christian poet leap from the page and land within our souls, our very being.
